Moses Pole Testimonials

"The Telescoping Moses Pole is especially handy for long walk-and-talks. Plus, it's really light and portable. It's collapse and doesn't take a lot of space.
Nick Davidoff
Steadicam operator

"My life is way better with the Telescoping Moses Pole. The Moses Pole is not only good for the camera, but for us dolly grips. I would tell anybody I know, get one!"

ERIC ZUCKER, A-CAM DOLLY GRIP

It started in 2002

The Mosespole was invented inĀ Vancouver for the film Paycheck because of the set design and not being able to carry the large and cumbersome docking stand on set.

Jon Wo the director designed the computers room to have all fly. On many shots, Stefan would steadicam into the room and the crew wouldĀ drop the wall down and seal himĀ in so he could 360 degrees. It took at least 5 minutes for the grips to ratchet the wall back up after Jon called cut.

It occurred to StefanĀ that he’d be stuck holding the SteadicamĀ® that weighed a lot with an anamorphic lens on it. This is where theĀ invention of the Moses Pole began.
